Watching Fireflies from the Apple Tree Cave

Someday you must come with a lawn chair to our place as the sun sets, and we will sit together in a spacious Apple Tree Cave as fireflies emerge from the grass within and beyond, their glows accented against ever-darkening backdrops of spruce and other wild growth, and their cadences and intensities quicken in tune with the waning light.

OK, it's not quite as spectacular as this digital composition I created from a photo at our place, but it truly is a beautiful experience. 8-10 people could easily fit.
